What is the correct fuel line size for a 67' GT-500? I'm talking about the line from the fuel pump to the fuel log. The new fuel log I just recieved from MU has the fuel line adapter fitting that is larger than the new fuel line I also got from MU.

    15/16 on GT500 428 Shelby's. 3/8 on 427 cars.
    I hope this helps.

    Dave,

I think Bob means 5/16. 15/16 would be a little bit difficult to work with.

Roy/Bob- Thanks. I kinda guessed it was 5/16's. The fuel log fitting from MU has an oulet size of 3/8's...really large. As I got my replacement line from MU I confirmed it was 5/16's also. I was wondering if there is another step down fitting that can be inserted into the larger MU fitting that someone else has used to correct this problem? MU gave the "i dunno...send it back" answer and can't explain why their log fittings are 3/8"s.
