Sorry to bug ya'll about my 65 Shelby car but I have another question. If the car did not originally have a radio and dealer installed one, where did the speaker/speakers go? WHen I opened the guage pod, I saw that they literally "hacked" the center dash board pad and the whole pod covers the speaker holes in the middle. Most were probably dealer installed, tho. There is a light in the radio but I believe you have to take the radio out and take the faceplate off to replace it. The FoMoCo factory shop manual lists the bulb as a #1891. Maybe others on the list have actually changed one out and can describe how it's done.
