you have been bitten and now have Shelby fever. there is no cure. Get a Lincoln welder some die grinders and a rusty 6 cyl coupe to practice on...

I agree that car would have to be under $20k to make it worth it....you said, "price wars are on?" Prices haven't been this low for ten years...so don't feel any pressure. It may be real, but the only way it can have any value is to have it done it right. Judging from the poor storage, I would say $75,000 would be a good start!

Dont Need To Poke I Can See The Ground Thrugh The Floors. The Seats Arnt That Bad Though..it Will Need All Of The Floor And Rear Subframs, Frame Rail However You Put It..lots Of Mesuring And Time..

It Needs A Nice Solid Doner Car That I Can Pull Apart ... Spot Weld By Spot Weld, And So On.. Other People Do It All The Time...

$25K is Top Dollar, BUT, I would bet you could find many takers here.

Depends on what you're seeing the ground through. If its floor boards its no big deal. If its door jams and once galvanized rocker panels and rear torque boxes that are gone you need to run. Need to find out why it looks like its sagging in one picture.

today. Or just buy a fastback and convert it incl VIN
Most of the car won´t be original anyways so,.....

    Good luck

I Can Get A Fastback For Parts Ans Separate The Body.. From The Floor... I Have Seen This Done A Couple Of Times...,, As Far As A Rebody.,, Then Alot Of These Cars That Are Being Restored Are Re Bodys... It Just Depends On How Good You Do It As Far A A Vin Swap That Would Be Fraud, Ab=nd Is Highly Illiagal...

Wow....do not post any #'s on it - in my opinion it looks like a candidate for a re-body. "10k and tow it away", but more likely a "fork lift and a flatbed".

    Sad to see.

My advice for what it's worth, buy it at 25K. Take the time to get all the parts you can with it. Some, like the fan did not look hipo, but get EVERYTHING you can to offset some of your expenses. When you start throwing cash at hard to get hipo or Shelby parts you will appreciate every dime you can get back.

Also, document the restoration with recipts and pics. Do everything you can to save the shell. If you cant save the inner fenders, at least keep whats left to prove originality. We all know of cars that came from worse, but in my eyes if you show how bad it was to begin with and what you did to fix and or replace each piece, it means everything.

Very interesting car. Good luck, Gary

The Shell And Front Innerfender Wells Are Fine.. Its Just The Whole Floor...... And As Far As The Hood Why Is It Junk ..,, I Am Sure You Can Reframe It... It Is Just A Giant Model.. Thats All....
