Re: Poll: Do you drive your Shelby and....

    Thanks Robin.
I'm glad to be driving it. To get it home all I did was through a new brake hose on it and changed the oil. The drove it home. Worked out real well. Since then, I've totally converted the front to "Brand New" minivan brakes. WOW, it's like stopping a Shelby Daytona. Then the shifter kept popping apart so I put a Heim joint in place of the main joint on the shifter rod. It's nice to shift at a normal speed without worring about the linkage falling apart. You can really feel the low mileage of the car too. I forgot how nice that was. My SC had 36,000 when I bought it, but that was over 17 years ago.
Are you going to make it to the meeting tomorrow? It's cold and windy today. Perfect weather for a meeting. LOL

I intend to be at the Shelby Dodge meeting tomorrow. Will you have your GLH-S there?

I wish I would have done the heim joint shifter on my old GLH-S. I could never figure out how to fabricate one. The stock shifter was good for cruising but not adequate for spirited driving.
