    Hey folks...
Can anyone describe to what degree the factory finished the underside of the hood on the 1968 Shelbys? The previous owner of my GT350 did some "artwork" on the hood underneath, and I'd like to return it to original.
I can tell its meant to be body color, but did the factory finish it smooth and glossy? Or was it fairly raw, like the '67 Shelby I used to have?
Appreciate any insights you can share...or pix if you have them!

The bottom side on a 1968 GT350 hood is smooth and painted body color. Same gloss level as the top side.

Thanks for timely reply--the hood is scheduled in the body shop this week and I wasn't sure what to tell them!
