    GT500 Convertible - Pics Inside!!!

    The guy that took these pics said the car was sporting blue manufacture plates and was very near the Ford World Headquarters in Detroit.

    strange without the LeMans stripes being complete. I would like to see it with the top down!

    are those forward facing hood scoops???? now all they need are side scoops and we are in business.


    can't tell but do the side stripes say gt500? maybe this is a California Special? I know the CS thought is a stretch but since I have 2 I am biased.

    If you look very close you can see inner headlights/driving lights, in the grille, from the picture taken in the rearview mirror. Why are they so dark? Could they be behind the grille? Wonder why there was no stripes on the rear? I would love to have the convertible with a white top and white leather interior! Are you listening Ford and Mr. Shelby? : :thumbsup:

    Very interesting pics! They almost suggest that SVT is looking at many cosmetic & engineering variants. If those are forward facing hood scoups, they look out of place w/o being part of the striping. What happened to the extraction vents we saw on the NYC intro car? Maybe this one doesn't have a blower? Maybe we're seeing another specialty variant, like a Mach? There are no Shelby insignia. It's fun trying to guess. What do you all think?
