OK, here's another one to rebumpstart the list:

I need a correct throttle rod for my '67 GT500. It's the main one that goes
from the big lever by the firewall to the center hookup between the carbs.
Right now I have just a dumb threaded rod on there and it's disgusting.

Anyone know a good place to get an acceptable original lookalike?

Dave Lennartz here on the list has convinced me to take the car to Portland
Int'l Raceway for a historice race event that will feature Shelbys of the
Northwest, so I want my car to be on its best behavior for its first
"outing" since restoration. Up to now, it's only been seen around our
little beach town and at our local club events. Who knows...maybe it'll
eventually work its way up to being judged so I can have a huge long
punchlist of more things to do on it.

Meanwhile, this month will be the time to get it into shape for the 120 mile
drive, which is longer than it's been driven in, oh, about 32 years. I
drove the snot out of it when I got it new and for the next 5 years thru
college, but since then it's been mostly parked until we took it all apart
and restored the entire car a couple/three years ago. It needs to get out
    more.

Dave...don't you want me to send you that check? Needjur address.

I hope all you listers have a good wknd.
