Another Newbie on the forum. Been looking/shopping for a 07-09 Gt500 since I sold my last decent ride. I almost went to the Dark Side and bought a 2010 Challenger SRT8, but then I took an 07 Gt500 convertible out for a drive. I was hooked on the seamless power curve and the whine of the supercharger. Now I am in the process of buying a 07-09 convertible. These cars are not as common here as they are in the U.S. I hope to gain some insight from this forum.

They're not all that commone here, either! I live near a town of almost 40,000 people. There's one Factory Five 427 Cobra, two GT500 Super Snakes, and my Shelby Supercharged. Also one Sunbeam Tiger, but it's a land speed racer, hasn't seen street use in a long time. Not many Shelbys or Shelby inspired cars here.

    Welcome!

    Some DRL advice please

Thanks for the welcome. I am new to this forum "thing" and I will most likely screw up by posting in an inappropriate area. However, I have done a search on activating DRL and I haven't come up with any info. I am in the process of buying a 2008 GT500 with HIDs and it seems that there are issues regarding activation of the DRLs. I don't want cause a major discussion on an old topic, but I would appreciate some assistance. Thanks in advance.

Your DRL's (daytime running lights) can be turned on by your local Ford dealer. They have to turn them on by hooking up to your pcm and activating the DRL's.
