Happy 4th all!! I'm hoping someone on the list can help me with my 4-speed to C6 auto tranny swap in my GT500. A friend of mine has a C6 tranny but he's not sure what it came out of. Date Code is good for my car but I need to know some measurements. I know this is asking a lot but if someone with a 67 or 68 (Police motor, not CJ) could take some measurements for me it would be a great help. 1. engine block to end of output shaft housing. 2. engine block to center of eyelet of the universal joint of the slip yoke. 3. front u-joint to rear u-joint measuring from the center of each eyelet. any other measurements that you think might be useful. thanks very much for your help.
