help please, traction problems with continental extremecontact dw and what to do?

Hello everyone. As the title says i recently went from stock to the new tires and my car (2009 Shelby GT500) is not driveable anymore going WOT at any speed. The weather the last few weeks has been in the high 60s up to 85 and if i floor my car the tires will spin. Im talking 40 miles an hour in 3rd gear they start smoking and the fastest I had the guts to go was 70 in 3rd and 4th gear and same thing, the tires just spin like crazy. This is not a trolling post as i am truly scared to drive my car now and dont know what to do.

The stock Goodyears in nice weather would hold just fine after 1st gear and i know that is normal in this type of car. I know not to drive in 40 degree weather or below and even so i only would drive spirited in 60+ weather. The new tires have 1500 miles on them so they are IMO broken in. Maybe i have a bad set or something? I am going to NTB on Monday after calling Conti to have them look at them but since i bought them from Tirerack (their website suggested them for my car) am I going to eat the price for a second set of tires? Any thoughts on what i can do or if i have to buy new tires what i should get that is better than the OEM tires. Thank you all for your help in this matter.
