I know there's no such thing as a time machine but how did the designer of this Mabee special go into the future to design
the nose design of his Bonneville racer when the 427 Cobra was still twelve years into the future?
Also there's a connection between Shelby and the Mabee family...Shelby having been paid by Guy Mabee to develop a race car.
Ok call it coincidence, but look at the front view ofthe Mabee special...remind you of any Shelby car?
    Spooks me out, man.

Simple, in an article in which he was discussing the car in detail, he stated that he used the 1952 Ferrari 340 Mexico Spider as influence for the style of his car.

Lot's of cars from the 50's (mostly Ferrari, which you already knew and was most likely fishing for :thumbdown ) have the same style as the AC Ace/Cobra nose.
