How do u change rear side marker bulb?

Hi All,
Sorry for such an elementary question, but I don't want to screw anything up so I figured I'd ask first.
Can someone please tell me where do I access the bulb from to remove the old burnt out bulb & replace w/ a fresh bulb?
From inside the trunk? I looked there but I didn't see what I expected to.
By prying off the red lens on the outside of the body?
Please advise.
