Anyone on the list have an intimate knowledge of Toyota / Lexus car ordering procedures & protocols? I recently ordered a new car to be built to spec, and after several mis-steps by the dealer, it is now "supposedly" scheduled to be built, yet the salesperson & his manager cannot give me any order or production information other than "trust me, it is oredred!" After they brought in a car to their dealership that was not correct (not even close), I am just looking for insight into their "process" since it takes 16 weeks to get certain models.
