Shelby Group,

For the last couple of days, we have not received Emails from the usually
active Group Members.

Maybe AOL is filtering my emails. Or, maybe everyone is working hard on
their
cars !

The list has been a little slow lately Pete, maybe everyone is starting
to plan their winter car projects.

daughter getting married this weekend, son in law has all his buddies coming in and will want to show them the Shelby. Busy making signs that say "DON'T LEAN ON FIBERGLASS" & "TOUCH MY DAUGHTER NOT THE SHELBY!"

Things will get active again as soon as the weather breaks like it did here in SE Missouri last night......SSSSSSSSSS.... it's Cobra weather......

I have to tell you what happened to me several weeks ago. I drove my 67 GT 500 to the bank drive thru and did my normal stuff. When I got my ticket back, the female teller asked me what GT stood for
on the car. I said Grand Touring ( I think - not too sure though). The lady said "Oh! We thought it stood for Get Towed." I laughed at that because I thought it was funny. She didn't laugh with me
so I left quickly.

The things people think! Amazing.

I was Driving in Auckland yesterday looking at locations and it was such a
nice day I took the jeolopy. A bloody bus was acting strangly and fairly
close to me. Then it got into the outside lane and the door opened. A big
lady bus driver with a heavy Kiwi accent yelled at me saying ''What's a
Shelby? Being quick witted I said. Well... It's a Shelby. She asked if it
was a Chryslar, Chevy or a Ford thingy. I said its a Ford thingy. She gave
me the thumbs up and closed the door!
