personally I just dont understand how someone bought a shelby with a 428 in
it and did not go rack the miles on it and drive the snot out of it

'Cause they are the same kind of folks who have bought '93, '95 and 2000 Cobra R's and have them stuffed away in their garages rather than driving the snot out of them. At my age, I, like you, prefer to get my kicks now. When I'm confined to a wheelchair, gumming my oatmeal, I'll have a big grin on my face, recalling the fun I had. The grand-kids can restore the car and make some money...by then, I won't care.
