I have a 2008 shelby gt 500 with an April build date. On the sticker is Job #2 order. Eairlier stickers dont have this. What improvements or tweaks come with a Job #2 order? Thanks

Did you use an "A Plan" or "X Plan" or some other Plan when you ordered it?

    David.

I have seen this on many 08's window stickers, right above the gas guzzler charge. I am not sure what it means, but I will try to find out.

I used to work at a Ford dealer in the parts department when I was 19 (a long time ago) so I called some of my friends there and they told me this. When Ford makes running changes the Job order number helps them find the right part for your car. I believe the 08 Gt500's had some minor changes including something to do with the balancer. Kind of like looking at a build date to get the exact right part for you car.

Thanks for your effort. My understand is that Ford did some suspension upgrades On Job #2 orders. April is a pretty late production for the Shelby. It might have been the last run for 2008. I was trying to find exact changes but when I called Ford all they could tell me was it means some upgrades were made from earlier models but no exact details. Mike
