    How many would be interested in a group buy of Blue Streak tires from Kelsey Tires? Maybe he will even extend the discount to other tires in stock for Shelbyforum members?

    A friend of mine has already received a set of 5, I have seen one of these in person. Unfortunately I didn't have my camera so couldn't take a pic but will ask my friend to send me a few. Upon quick inspection it looks almost identical to the pic of the original Jeff posted on the other thread. The only thing that jumped out was the sidewall raised ridge was not as sharply defined as an original.

    Here are the details on a group buy.
    $350/tire is the regular price for the Blue Streak w/ raised white letters and NO striped painted blue.
    $300/tire is the price which is wholesale. But, the purchase needs to go thru someone w/ a business/resale license to get the wholesale price.
    Kelseys Tire will ship directly to each purchaser,but the payments need to go thru the buyer w/ the business/retail/wholesale license. In other words, we send the money to someone w/ a license, he makes the purchase and Kelsey ships directly to each individual zip code.
    Add for shipping cost. It is approx $95 to the west cost.
    Let me know your thoughts.

    Ed, I happened to be to be talking to a retailer today who bought 50 tires from Kelsey last week to beat a 35.00 increase on each tire as of Jan 1 /08. I would double check the price per tire you were quoted Wed 1/1 to be absolutly sure you were not quoted the old price.

    Spoke w/ John today at Kelsey's Tire. The prices I was quoted will hold for 2008. No new price increase for 2008.

    yes, every tire Kelsey carries can be purchased at wholesale prices thru this deal. we just need someone w/ a resale/business license to do the order.
