Looking for info on a 66 shelby.. can you help

    I am looking for car number 62409. I dont have the registery book. does anyone know if this car still graces the earth? Any ideas on tracking it down?

    I'm assuming you're talking about 6S409?

    It shows very little history, with the last sale being to Tom Rick in Franklin, TN. But since the last registry is getting old, that could very well be outdated info. I'm not sure of your intentions, but based on your last post, I thought you might be trying to reunite that car with it's original engine? If that's the case, Howard Pardee at SAAC makes a point of notifying current owners if there's a possibility of reuniting car and engine. You can contact him at saachp@snet.net. Likewise, if you've got some other legitimate reason to get in contact with the owner, Howard would be your contact.
