I am military and stationed in Japan. I have a 1967 Ford Mustang 200cc 6 cy Ragtop. It is is storage in Texas. I have been take advantage of by two so called shops that said they knew mustangs. Needless to say I got taken to the cleaners. My stang does have almost all new metal but it does not line up correctly and the gaps are not correct.

I am looking for a shop that can tear it down and put it back correctly. I am hoping that someone out there can give me a good reccomendation as to where to take it. I do not need to get into any more trouble with the wife. LOL She wants me to sell it but I want to keep it.

Please let me know any and all advice.

    Thanks
    Steve

I would consider listening to your wife.

I don't think he was trying to be funny. The fact is, it's easy to get upside down with the 6 cylinder Mustangs. They just don't bring the dollars that the 8 cylinder models do, but cost as much to restore or maintain.

I appreciate you clearing that up. But I have so much in the car now and the engine that changing it in mid stream seems like it would be more Expensive.

Anyone have an opinion and still looking for a good place that can restore it.
