Magnum 500 wheels

I just sold a set of 14x7 chrome Magnum 500's on Ebay. They were OEM and in fair shape but my question lies in another set I have had for years. When I bought this set of 15x7 OEM Magnum 500's I was told they came off a Boss 302. That is to the best of my recolection. I guess if they are 15x7 the popular thing to say is " Off a Boss 302 ". The 14's I sold had the Ford oval with Ford in longhand inside the wheel. These 15's have the oval but Ford is upside down and backward. Is this correct? Does it denote something? Very strange looking and I can't find anyone around here that has a clue. Would appreciate outside knowledge. Thanks, Ted
