My GT 500 I bought from Tango Classic Autos in MA finally arrived last week. ..

I'm absolutely wrapped. It was 100% as described and even better in some areas. Big leap to buy something you havent seen with your own eyes (got it independantly inspected though) but unfortunately 68 GT500's dont come up 4 sale over here - owners dont sell or sell by word of mouth. Big wrap to Bret from Tango. Great to deal with.

Get it registered this week and will enjoy.

Its #299. Sad circumstances with the purchase though. The owner bought it off the fellow who is listed in the 97 registry (cant remember his name offhand). He put it into Tango to have the resto finished off in Oct 2004 but passed away suddenly in Aug 2005. The car had just been completed so he never got to drive the finished product. Tango restored the undercarriage, bay and all mechanicals, and some electrical work. I bought the car off the family but through Tango (consignment). I missed out on a few over about a 6 month period so I guess its fate.

I'll try to post some pics in the next couple of days.

If anyone ever needs a car checked out @ Tango I'm about 40 minutes away and in the area frequently. Things seem to have gotten a lot better since Brett took over managing the place, didn't care to much for the old guy.
