Hi Everyone. I have a chance to buy a Fiberfab 427 Cobra kit car. My intentions are to make the car as original as possible and use an original 289 HIPO, Borg Warner T-10 and as much other components as I can. ( original wheels maybe ) I have many questions about this. Anyone have the answers and some time to talk on the phone?? I think it will go quick and want to do something tonight.
If you call me I'll call you right back or you can forward your # to my eMail.

    Thanks

Fiberfab? Have heard of Fiberfab and their very un-GT40esque kit the Valkyrie, but not a Fiberfab Cobra 427. You state it's a 427 Cobra, and want to be original, well, a 289 would not be an original engine, a 427 would be. You're going to have to provide way more information, photos, whatever.

Since you're starting with a kit car, why not just get a crate 347 stroker and have fun. If you start buying original 289 Hi-Po engines, your project is going to get very expensive, and still not have an increasingly high resale value, than if you installed a less expensive drive train.
