Hi all! Any Shelby Dakota owners want to help with a major pain in my side. I bought a red Shelby Dakota and the radiator had been stolen out of the truck, and the fans thrown on the ground. Thank god they left the fans, but this all happened before I bought it. So I'm at the point of putting in a new radiator, and can't find anything on how the fans are supposed to be installed. So if anyone has any info, or better yet detailed pics of where the hell the fans bolt up to would be greatly appreciated. Please Please Please coz I really don't want to rig this thing up in any other way than the factory did it. Thanks a lot. oh and please email pics or replies to moparrush at y a h oo. c o m. Bob
Re: Needs pics of how the electic fans are installed in a 1989 Shelby Dakota....PLEAS The fans are mounted to a steel frame specific to the Shelby Dakota. You'll most likely only find this frame in another Shelby Dakota being parted out. A member of Turbo-Mopar.com has a fan assembly listed for sale at the bottom of the page here: http://www.turbo-mopar.com/forums/s...S-Shelby-Dakota-parts&highlight=shelby+dakota Here are photos of replacement fans mounted to the stock frame: http://forums.moparmusclemagazine.c...cars-and-trucks/1989-shelby-dakota/page2.html
