Hello everyone! Tomorrow should be the big day. In theory anyhow. My husband ordered a 2011 GT500 for me for my birthday. My birthday has come and gone, but we were told the car should be here tomorrow. We are both like a couple of kids awaiting Christmas. Welcome Debbie and husband and Congrats on your new beast. I have a passport solo radar detector. It is battery operated so no cords in the way. Passport makes a fairly large line of different RD's. You can go look at them on line.
Save your window sticker and frame it. You are about to enter an elite group of auto owners. There will be around 5500 or so 2011 shelbys built for the whole world and you own 1 of those. That leaves 5499 for the rest of the people. Good luck and never turn the traction control OFF in wet weather.
Welcome, as a fellow Michigander you probably know that because of budget cutbacks there are less police on the street than anytime in the last 50 years. I am not saying go out and drive crazy, just pointing out why you just don't see cops all over the place anymore. We lost 800 state troopers in the last 5 years alone, nearly a 45% decrease.
