    International Demand Fuels Expansion of Shelby American Executive Team

    LAS VEGAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Shelby American, a wholly owned subsidiary of Carroll Shelby International Inc. (CSBI.PK), has expanded and realigned its executive team to meet strong global demand for its vehicles and parts. Gary Schechner joined the team as the vice president of marketing, while Gary Patterson will now serve as the vice president of international and strategic sales.

Gary Schechner brings a unique set of skills to Shelby, as well as a passion for performance. This will also give us the ability to better focus on building our dealer network, both in North America and overseas.”

    Schechner will draw upon over two decades of marketing success across a number of high profile brands and industries. He played a hands-on role in using customer insights to deliver breakthrough programs for Texaco Havoline motor oil, Honda Motorcycles and Hewlett-Packard printers, among others.

    Most recently, Schechner led marketing, advertising and social media campaigns for 1,000 ARCO/ampm convenience stores and their franchisees. By making customers the center of the experience, he helped the billion dollar brand become the most forward thinking in its industry.

    Schechner earned an MBA in Marketing from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Advertising from Arizona State University. A long-time car and motorcycle enthusiast, he also races sport bikes at the expert level.

    Gary Patterson will now leverage his extensive background in Shelby to build a worldwide network of sales channels, including mod shops.
