Hello all! I am new to this site and have been a Shelby/Mustang fan for many years now. I have owned a 68 GT500(#3188) & a 67 GTA Fastback. I am currently restoring my pride and joy a 67 GT350 (#1790). She's Brittany Blue, Blk interior, Automatic w/factory air. I have owned her for two years now and I should be completed by April 05. I look forward to meeting some current 67 owners online & I usually attend a few of the larger Swap meets like Carlisle, PA & Columbus, OH. I even attended SAAC in Vegas three years ago and am still giddy about meeting Mr. Shelby as he autographed my 68's original owners manual. I have since sold the car but could not let the owners manual go! It will stay in my display case as a keepsake. I look forward to checking this site out and I wish I would have found it sooner. I am glad you got on board! help spread the word and hopefully the SHELBY Car owners community can have a super successful forum such as BOSS302.com has! I still go over and check them out as they have a great bunch of members full of knowledge. it made me jealous that SHELBY people did not have the same type of Forum. Lets make it happen here. Try and check in daily and talk about your restoration progress maybe post some pics! I was at SAAC does Vegas 6. That is when the COBRA bug bit me. I was at SHELBY's Facility and a guy had just unloaded a Black CSX COBRA and started it up. then I did the tour and saw how they were built. I just sold my 68 GT500 Dec.4th and Bought a low miles pristine CSX4000 series COBRA! Someday I will get another SHELBY Mustang, But for now I also Have a 1969 MACH1 351 4V 4 Speed 1 owner car that belonged to a great friend of mine. His widow gave me the car so it is sentimental to me as well as a Cool Mustang.
