Hello I am an attending the SAAC 32 convention this year with my son and hope to see some cars I saw race 40 years ago in Europe. I am very interested in vintage racing and hope to attend many in the future. I enjoy working on my cars and attending local shows with my mustang buddies.
I am looking forward to SAAC 32. I have attached one of my slide scans from the 1000km Nurburgring race from 1965. This is CSX 2602 raced by the Alan Mann Racing Team , driven byJack Sears and Frank Gardner. I was not much of a camera buff back in those days and seldom dragged a camera along to the races. I had a marvelous experience with a privateer 427 Cobra team in 1966 at Nurburgring after finding my way into the pits. Unfortunately I didnt bring a camera so I am doing some research to see what car it was.
