Greetings. i'm a relatively new owner (nov '06) who finally got the car (GT 500conv) that i could never have back in high school. it is way fast. as close to dirivng a nascar as i'll ever get. i love it and look forward to visiting mustang rallies. the next one in my area is the mid-america meet in Tulsa. wes

Welcome Wes! I too just became a first time Shelby owner. My dad wouldn't let me own anything fast back in the 70's, and I always wanted a Shelby. I went looking for a new GT500 and when I found what they were going for I was heartbroken, till I realized the GT was in my price range. Needless to say 07SGT1316 is under the cover in my garage.
