    Howdy everyone,
I guess I have to make a post so I can view everything on this website. I am finally in a position (new job) to buy a Shelby and/or Boss 302 in the next year and am trying to get as much info as possible. I was wondering if anyone has copies of the "Marque" and "Shelbly American" for sale?
Is there any other book that someone can recommend other than Kopec's Shelby buyers guide?
    Thanks, Tim

Wecome to the site. I hope you are able to get both the Shelby and the Boss in your search.

As usuall, always watch Ebay for back issues of the Shelby American and SAAC's "Buyers Guide".

There are two websites to be a member of, one is this one for Shelby's, and also www.boss302.com for Boss cars.

And, if you really want a Shelby, you might want to join SAAC. For $47.00 a year, you'll get access to the all important registrar when you find a car. This way, you won't buy a fake, or air car.

Thanks for the info...I do read Boss302.com quite a bit, but, I'm leaning towards a '65/'66 350 now and wanted to get my hands on older literature and learn more about the history of the early Shelbys.
If anyone had a collection and was looking to sell...I would be very interested. Any other books that I should look for on ebay?
    Thanks again, Tim

The best way to leasn about all Shelbys is to get a copy of one of the Registrys, even the old Registrys have good info, because the history doesn't change, it's just added to when something new is found. That way when you get your car you can see for yourself who used to own the car.

For a Boss, go to www.Boss302.com and you will find any type of Boss you want (302, 351 and 429) and good luck on the car that you want. There are plenty of great Shelby's and Boss's out there so, take your time and you will find the car that you want.

Not always true. Check the history of 5S206. In the old registrys it is a "factory drag car prototype" In the new registry it is just another street car.
