Newbie with question about 08 GTs

    I'm in the market for a blue 08 Shelby GT but I live in CA. The CA DMV considers any car with less than 7500 miles as new and therefore must have the CA smog label under the hood to be registered. I get the impression that the blue ones only have the "49 states" label. Anybody know how to register one in CA that is registered in another state?

    I think many if not all of the '08 Shelby GT's were 50 state certified. Therefore, there should be no problem getting one registered in California.

    The one I was considering in Tucson had a 49 state tag. Therefore, I was wondering if maybe all or most of the blue ones were the same. Anybody else know?

    My '07 in Minnesota has a 50 state sticker.
    The blue '08 Shelby GT's were sold in California along with the California exclusive grabber orange - so as I stated previously, it should not be hard to find one that meets your needs.
