Greetings. I'm a new member, although I've been adicted to the forums for a few months now. I don't own a Shelby yet, but I haven't given up on the dream just yet. I own a '65 A-code fastback that I've had for 18 years (bought it when I was 17) and a '65 factory GT coupe. I've been fascinated with Shelby's since I was 13 or 14 (hence the fastback at 17) and have too many shoulda, coulda, woulda stories of cars I've passed up, so I'm watching the market closely for that '65 (yeah, right... I wish) or '66 GT350 driver to come up that I can afford... and justify to my wife. Any advice on how to make the successful pitch to the wife? ...didn't think so. I've posted a bunch of pictures of the historic races at Laguna Seca from 2003 under member galleries using my login (crzy4shelbys) if anyone is interested. A couple R-models (including the Essex Wire car with Rick Kopec driving - not sure if he still owned it at that point), a couple GT40's, several Cobras, and 4 of the Daytona Coupes. I also threw in a picture of Vic Edelbrock in his Boss 302.
