E-Bay auction 4533515384; Nice Red 1969 Mustang Covertible, red interior with a factoiry 428. Very nicely restored. Starting bid was $50K and it is up over $78K with 3 days to go. Reserve still not met. I know this is a pretty rare car, but is it really worth this kind of money for a standard Mustang? Or am I missing something here? Are we going to see a run-up on nice 1969-70 convertibles now?

What's everyone's opinion on this one?

    WHOOPPEE!
We are the proud owners of a 1969 GT Mustang convertible with a "lowly" 351
Windsor that is in the process of restoration to driven concours standards.
    Let those prices roll!!!!
The CJ would add some $$$ but that is a pretty steep price, in my opinion.

  3. Hey guys,
This car belongs to Colin Comer from the list. He is the owner of the
dealership selling the car. In my opinion, not a bad price for a car like
this. I just sold one of these cars within the past couple of weeks for
$85,000 and about a month and a half ago I saw one sell for just over
$90,000 with the auction fees included. These Cobra Jet convertibles are
coming on real strong, they are very limited. As a side note, it appears
this car of Colin's is in better shape than the car I just sold, just by
    looking at the pics.
    Thank you,
    Mike McCullough

  4. I hope he gets all the money because I am getting ready to put my 1969 GT
500 CV (428 car, of course!) up on the Bay for 200k buy-it-now.

13,000 original miles and red -

Get that big $$$$ Colin, helps us all out, in the end
