Hello to all! Just a quick post to mention the first MCA event held outside of the U.S.A. Just wrapped up In Oakville Ontario.in the corporate HQ and the site of the new Flex assembly plant parking lot.The show was well organized, and featured a wide variety of cars and classes. The crowds were rebaptised on saturday afternoon for about 40 minutes of free car wash.Even with this,a steady spectator crowd continued to check out the display of around 400 cars.Ford announced the new G.T.500 K.R arrival in Canada, and had one in the lobby on display. The weather improved on Sunday, and even more people attended. The awards were numerous, and well presentedIt was great to see people from all over attend, and history has been made!Lets hope this can become a regular event!!
I also had the chance to view some wild ponies at the show. I did hear that all the spots were pre-registred and that some folks were turned away at the gate do to lack of room?
Was there all weekend... allot of rain for a short time so the style of judging was modified. Allot of neat cars and plenty of nice people. No MCA national show becomes a regular thing but maybe since it was such a success the host club will consider applying again
Was there on Sat. The show was booked solid, over 430 cars. The show was easily better then the show in Columbus back in June.
