think is the rarest? Also, if you are buying one to keep to drive on weekends for 20-30 years but also as an investment would you buy the cars actually modified by Shelby American instead of Ford SVT? Very, very interested in ya'll opinions because you guys are...THE EXPERTS! Thank you for your contribution.

In my opinion, there is really no way to tell which of the new cars is going to be the rarest. However, i have heard from shelbyautos that quite a few people will be supersnaking their krs when they get them. If you are looking to go the route of actually driving the car, i wouldnt get a supersnake. At least where i live, you would have to be kidding yourself that you could actually drive it around on a dialy basis being as low as it is.
If i was looking for a car to drive, while still getting a ton of performance, and while still covering the rarity/value area; i would go pick up a shelby gt (i think the looks are far superior to the 500) and then have it completely modified by shelbyautos. It will be a 500 horse machine that can take a corner like a champ and will still have the looks that everyone seems to love. I think you will also get a nice return whenever you decide to sell. But in order to keep the value, i would say that the mods will have to be done by shelby autos only.

Oh ya, and add in the cs6 cs8 and the terlingua.....i just dont think enough people even know these cars exist, despite being great values. But the MODS MUST BE DONT BY THE FACTORY...NO ORDERING FROM THE CATALOGS AND DOING IT YOURSELF!

....but this car is a bit over priced

    Best Regards,

I would buy the one you like the most and maybe someday it will be worth a lot. If not, you have a car you like. You can't lose. I personally think the GT500 looks far superior to the Shelby GT, the unique 5.4 engine with forged internals, 6 speed tranny and distinctive, more aggressive front nose sets it a apart. You'll find opinions vary vastly on this but, the one you like is the one you need to get.

If you are looking for a long term Investment........I would have to say that the 2006 Shelby GT-H would be my first choice. Choice #2 would be a 2007 Shelby GT-H Convertible. Choice #3 would be a 2007 Shelby GT-H Coupe. Just my 2 cents worth.

Just one slight correction...the conv was only made in 07 and the coupe was only made for 06.
However, we have heard from a member on the forums that some cars were made with a manual tranny......that would be the investment car to have!
    Best Regards,

I totally forgot about a few with Manual Trans. I was under the impression that The GT-H came in both Coupe & Convertible for 07. Either way, the GT-H is the one to have for Collectibility. OH....The others are good to collect as well.............. Just my thoughts on it.

The first year of the Hertz car has my vote as they only made 500.
