Red Line 5W 50 synthetic. You can go the full 7500 mile interval with it. It exceeds the Ford spec. in the owners manual.

I could not find it in Texas. I had to order it directly from red line in California. Where are you serving and what is your home state?

Did you get the owners manual with the car?

ford wengler luxembourg that have also a racing department recommend me an annual or 14 000 miles exchange with the synthetic oil. I do not believe that a modern full synthetic oil is worn after 7000 miles. Maybe in very sandy or dusty regions the oil gets dirty faster.

The owners manual calls for 7500 mile interval between changes.

Sorry been of the radar for the last few weeks. Yes I have the manual I got with the car. I notice the % life left in the oil is coming down. I imagine that this is just a function of time and mileage.

Where could I buy a proper shop manual for the car?

    Cheers

The owners manual also says that if the car is in the Middle East or Africa the oil should be changed after 5000Km. Thats the interval that I will be sticking to.
