Orange '68 500 in Hot Rod (coralsnake)

    Did anyone notice the orange GT500 on page 18 of the April 2010 issue of Hot Rod? It's a bit depressing because the guy had it for 24 years and had to sell it to avoid foreclosure, but the little article says it sat for 24 years and they call it unrestored. I wonder if it's an original special paint? Does anyone know anything about this car? Pete? It was in Michigan.

    I was going to scan the article and post it, but that's probably breaking all sorts of copyright laws.

    I saw it! I can tell you it's not a special paint car. How do I know? Two reasons...there were no GT500 special paint cars and the GT500s had already left the building when the special paints arrived. I am pretty sure this car was dark green. The new owner has email me. He is a great guy and knows he has a big challenge ahead.

    I do appreciate you calling it out. We will find the last special paint car with everyones help.
