Was Shelby involved with the Plymouth Cuda prototype in the early 1980's? All I know about it is what it looks like, but it would have been a cool complement to the Charger had it been produced.

I'm almost positive that he was not involved with the 80's 'Cuda. I have read that Carroll is the reason they did not come into production, as he felt that they took away from his Charger. I read that he felt it would hurt Charger sales.

Exactly, that's why CS was against the idea of Plymouth having their own version. He didn't want it to be a rip off of the Shelby Charger.

I do however, think that it looks very decent, and have put tons of thought into making my SC restoration into one...as long as I can find someone to make me the decals....looks like I'm going to have to be emailing Dave again ha ha.
