    Hi!
I wonder why there is only one side scoop (located on the drivers side) on this model car. In pictures from the first race with this car (Ken Miles driving) there is no sidescoop on the car...

What is the story? I have searched all over, but I am unable to find out the "Mystery" -can you help?

    Martin,

I believe that the scoop was first used for a differential cooler on the race car and later adapted for brake cooling on the '66 cars. I'm sure others posting on the site will confirm or offer their own explanation.
