Let's see what am I missing by driving a 37 year old car... The seats actually are pretty good, check out a 1969 mach one or a Shelby when you get a chance to sit in one. As far as the rear defrost, there was a ford dealer accessory available, but I have not seen the "modern in glass type." Fortunately living in Dallas has not made the rear defrost an issue. I almost bought an add on type, but did not need it all winter. AM/FM radios were an option, and today you can buy a bezal and put a modern radio in without any other modifications. I bought the kick panels with the speaker pods, but you could use the door speakers with the original (or original type) grills. I don't have power windows or door locks and therefore no keyless entry. I could add a trunk release, which was a dealer installed option. The items could be added without messing too much up. I know the Cougars had power windows and the other options much more frequently than the Mustangs. Cats get more of the fancy stuff. Other than sticking a key in a hole, not having extra distractions of GPS or other electronics, what luxurys am I missing? (I know that the car does not have airbags, abs, traction control, rack and pinion steering, etc). Lee 66 #869 69 # 2055
