Jim the "C" carbs were only seen on early GT500's. There is no clear cut off date, but If I saw them on a car with a serial number in the upper 400's I would be skeptical. I plan on discussing this further with Jim Ulrey when I see him this weekend.Bob G. BJ This weekend..Palm Beach Good morning. Is anyone from the list going to B Jackson this weekend. I have mulled over going but have not made a final decision. Pete Geisler...are you going? If anyone goes......look for the 45 year old guy , glasses, wearing a medium blue baseball hat with a big BC on the front. I will be with my 6'1" son who is far more articulate than I am! If I go, I'll probably wear one of my old SAAC member T shirts. I called BJ several months ago about selling a car and I was told that if I wanted a good spot it would be $1,000.00 (minimum) plus the 8% fee....and if I requested a reserve...any reserve....my car would not be chosen. I'm left with the thought, if you had a really nice car..as many of us do...why would you want to sell it there? I understand that BJ brings in gobs of money but the potential downside also seems ......large. Oh, it was hinted that I could always have a "friend" buy the car ...and that would only cost me 8% of the final price. Wow, what a bargain! Have a great weekend.
