Shelby Fans, We too, have seen many 67 & 68 Shelby's without the reinforced "Export" shock tower washers. Several very original cars were found with a washer on one side only. Poor quality control was responsible. What were some of the unusual body marks or changes made to identify Shelby's? I restored a 70 Boss 302. Inside the R/H quarter panel, was clearly written " B O S S". It was drawn in body caulking, nice and smooth. Like the installer had plenty of experience in writing with caulk. Pete, My son has a 69 428 CJ Fastback that has written inside the left rear quarter "No Beer Here". Talk about patina!
