  1. Guys,

As long as we're listing- I have a 5,000 sq. ft. warehouse where I keep
everything but Tilly, our 1972 Land Rover utility (get it?), my wife's 1969 E-Type
roadster, which lives at home, and the 1968 Jeepster Commando that lives at
our summer cottage. I've limited the collection over the years to the number I
can keep in the warehouse and still have an aisle, as I don't want to have to
move several to get one out. I've seen a couple of 50-car collections where
the driver has to move ten cars to get at the one he wants, and that's a
problem, as in the summer I sometimes drive more than one car in a day, rotating
between the garages at home (4 spots), the warehouse, and the two-car garage
attached to my office, which is probably my biggest "perk", as the cars don't have
to be outside unless they're in motion. Such a problem! For now, at least,
whenever a new one shows up, another has to go.

For the record, the current warehouse occupants are:

1937 Rolls-Royce Phantom III Cabriolet de Ville (Hooper)
    1937 Bentley 4 1/4 High-Profile saloon (Mulliner)
    1937 Lincoln Zephyr coupe streetrod
    1948 Ford Woodie wagon
    1955 Thunderbird
    1956 Continental Mark II
1958 Bentley Continental Flying Spur (Mulliner)
    1959 Ford Skyliner restomod
    1963 Ford Galaxie 500 R-Code
    1965 Cobra CSX4045
    1965 Mustang convertible
    1966 Lincoln Continental convertible
    1967 GT500 #841
    1968 GT500 #389
1969 Mercedes 300 SEL 6.3 (my only non-drivable unit at the moment)
    1985 Mustang SVO
    1988 Mustang convertible
    1993 Dodge Stealth R/T-TT

I don't think I've ever listed all of them in one post before- I usually sign
off with the Shelby's on this list and the R-R/B's on the RROC netlist, but
we're talking about storage here, I guess...

Here's hoping we all have a GREAT driving year in 2006!

    Cheers,
    Mike Heroy
