    Stan,
I agree with you and the others, it's getting hard to
see for all the smoke. And just to clairify he is not
    a friend.

I was at the Northwoods SAAC open track event last week, chatting with my
friend who owns a Ford dealership. I mentioned that I would like to get a
Ford GT, but only in black with no stripes or blue with white stripes, and
    not at a "silly" premium.

On Monday I had a fax at my office with 24 Ford GT cars in dealer's
inventory, in my region, UNSOLD. 24 black and blue cars.

Hmmmm....I think I WILL wait to buy one at sticker! With that many cars
cooling their heels, how far off can MSRP time be? FWIW, on eBay the new
target price seems to be around 190k - reserves met and cars selling, with
opening bids around 170k or so. And a LOT of cars available there , too.

"Pigs get fat, Hogs get slaughtered." Fitting?

Colin-Thanks for that info.! Think I'll wait awhile myself. Also, something
for us to ponder. There are always those fatcats out there who just have to
have the "latest & greatest". When the newness is gone, they're off to the
next best thing and dump the old toy. It'll happen.
BTW, I heard that saying as: "Bulls survive, Bears survive but Pigs get
    slaughtered".

Actually, I have read of progressive 401K managers buying collector
vehicles as part of their portfolios.
