  1. Appears you found a 289 high performance block from a 1966 San Jose built fastback or Shelby cast in Oct 65. You should be able to find a number of stamping that could relate to factory inspections, assembly or simply people/shops, owners name added durign a rebuild.

    Ebay has these every so oftern if your looking for a value. Real value would be matching up the block with the original car ... not a very easy task
