Re: Low gloss black paint for engine compartment

As Jeff S. mentioned, the early dashes were not painted black, if you look
closely you will notice that it is actually a dark Charcoal Gray metallic. I
have noticed over the years, that it is one thing that seems to be overlooked by
a lot of restorers, and generally you see the metal dashes painted black by
mistake.
