    I think Jeff was referring to later cars, not early ones. Here's his quote
    from the archives:

    "For later Mustangs you'll need to use something other than the straight
    black for interiors of course. Since they are not really black (Ford referred to
    them as black) but a very dark charcoal metallic color"

    Jeff, what do you mean by later cars?
