    Another way to put it into scale, maybe--If your annual gross income was
    around $200,000 what would your "comfort level" be at an auction (like BJ)? How
    much "too much" would you be willing to pay for a car you liked/wanted? !% of
    your annual gross ($2K)? 5% (10K)?

    Now, scale that up by a factor of One Hundred--ie, a $20 MILLION annual
    income (certainly not out of reach for many figures in management, sports, movies,
    TV...).

    NOW, "1%" is $200,000; "5%'' is $1 million....

    And for some folks at BJ, scale up by ONE THOUSAND from the original
    example... to $200 MILLION annual income (geez, even Howard Stern [at least, this
    year]). NOW, "1% (of annual gross income)" is $TWO MILLION, and "5%" is TEN
    MILLION....
