Anything decent available from the "auto parts" chains? NAPA? >> >>>Lots of people are happy with Performance Friction pads, which many auto parts chains carry. I am partial to Porterfield R4-S pads. They are fantastic--grippy when cold, no undue brake dust (some, just not excessive), dynamite performance on the street (they do need to warm up a LITTLE bit compared to organic pads), and pretty decent performance on the track (although their lifespan is drastically reduced as the speeds go up, and if you're really hauling the mail you can turn a brand new set of pads into backing plates in one hard day at the track). On an unrelated note, realize that Skod gets very tightly twisted up when people did what you did--send a message to multiple recipients including the Nor-Cal Shelby Club forum. This is a means for Outsiders to get a look at the Nor-Cal list address, which can then lead to spam. So keep Skod happy--when you want to send the same message to the Nor-Cal list and other forums as well, do with with separate messages. :>) Mike
