It's amazing to me the number of people who choose to do thoroughbred cars then focus only on NOS parts. Nothing says you have to use NOS - there are as many good original parts out there (maybe more) that only need refinishing and can be had for a fraction of what NOS parts are going for. As soon as you put an NOS part on your vehicle, it is no longer NOS unless you are doing a thoroughbred restoration. As Kenny says, at the right price, install an NOS part or, at much less cost, a used original in really nice condition. The practice of overpriced parts would disappear overnight if we, the buyers, just stopped buying! But.......the old ego would take a beating. Maybe P.T. Barnum was right. Anyhow, excepting those folk doing thoroughbred restorations, prices on NOS parts will continue to rise as long as there are buyers who just cannot resist that surge of adrenalin. > Just my $.02 worth. > Ron
