The hydraulic lifters will pump up around 5,200 RPM if you push it hard. This will cause the power to fall off and the valves to float. Let if idle a few seconds and the clicking will go away with no permanent damage. Set the redline at 5,500 and you will probably never reach it due to this built in rev limiter. SEE Y'ALL LEE

Yup, when we started autocrossing the old 260 Mustang Convertible,
initially they would pump up to where the car would just cut off during an
autocross run. Lee told us to adjust the lifters all the way out and then
1/4 turn tight from there. Car ran fine after that, and we never ha a
tach, but it seemed like that dded 500 or more rpms to what we could rev
it. We had the hydraulic built in rev limiter.
